HARRISBURG (May 1999) — Kathryn A. Meloni, a sole practitioner in Media, was recently elected to head the 11,000-member Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (PBA/YLD), which works to promote public service and professional growth among young lawyers in the commonwealth.

Two therapy dogs with PAWS for People, a nonprofit that makes visits to hospitals, schools, libraries and more, are getting & married in a special fundraiser on Aug. 10. Frangelica Meloni is the bride, while Shaggydog Stark is the groom.

The pets’ nuptials were part of a fundraising festival for PAWS for People, a nonprofit organization that provides therapy visits from trained animal companions in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey.
